Why doesn't Building Web Apps with Ember.js have a Send to Kindle option?

I recently bought 3 ebooks from O'Reilly, and one of the three, Building Web Apps with Ember.js, does not have a 'Send to Kindle' option, even though it is available in MOBI format. Is this an oversight, or is it due to a content licensing issue or something?

  • Hello Chris,

Unfortunately the mobi is too big to use the "Send to Kindle" option. Amazon has a limit of 50MB for sending to Kindle, so unfortunately we can't offer this option for larger ebooks.

Instead, you can transfer larger ebooks to your Kindle by downloading them to your computer, connecting your Kindle to your computer with a USB cord, and moving the file into the Kindle's documents folder. Let me know if you have questions, and you can find more information on Amazon's help page.

    I hope this helps!

    Best regards,
