Unable to find images shown in the book

Dear Sirs:

I bought the book “Programming Computer Vision with Python” from O’Reilly, written by Jan Erik Solem.
I have downloaded Python27 and PIL 1.1.7. I am trying to execute the code shown on page 1 looking for
‘empire.jpg’ image in PIL. For some reason the program cannot find this image.
How can I find this image and make sure it exist in the PIL.

  • Hi Joseph,

    I'm not sure where that image is supposed to come from, because it doesn't seem to be included with PIL or the code for the book. I did find a copy of that image doing some searching, so I've attached it below. You may need to right-click on it and save it as "empire.jpg".
