Think Stats difficulty

Hello everyone I'm trying to get started with the "Think Stats" 2nd edition pdf and I'm having extreme difficulty getting it to work. When I run the nsfg.py fil, at first it says "numpy" not found and then "matplotlib" not found even after I've installed Anaconda. Can anyone lend a helping hand out there it will be much appreciated. please contact me at matcremdan@gmail.com. Thanks

  • Hi. This looks like it is not specifically a problem with nsfg.py, but with your installation.

    Two possibilities:

    1) You have installed Anaconda, but not numpy and matplotlib.

    Try "conda install numpy matplotlb"

    2) When you run python, you are not getting the version installed by Anaconda.

Try running python on the command line and check the output from the interpreter.

    Hope that helps!
