why the oreilly safari site is so unstable?? The oreilly site always works, but the Safari one remains 90% of the time down. I live in Brazil and I dont believe that the problem is here (internet backbone, routing problems). It is getting unbearable, because I pay for it, and so I should be able to use it.

I'm sorry to hear you are having problems connecting to Safari. We have automated systems which constantly monitor Safari's uptime and they indicate Safari has been responding within 2 seconds to most requests over the past three days. I also did a search of our Customer Service database and I don't see any general pattern of connection problems at this time.
Diagnosing your particular connection issue is better done via email than through the Get Satisfaction forum because we will need to ask you to run a trace route and send screen shots. Someone from our Technical Support department will be emailing you with instructions later today.
