Question about buying from O'Reily and Amazon

Is there a difference between buying a book from here and from Amazon? Which one will be newer? The book I bought has errata and it's been fixed in newer prints.

  • Hi Michael,

There isn't much difference between buying our print books from O'Reilly vs. Amazon. The way you can tell which printing the book is from is by checking the Copyright page and there should be a printing date. It's either listed in the middle of the page, or in the lower right corner.
The errata page for the book shows what has been corrected in current printings and the date it was corrected. The Date Corrected is in the right hand column on this page -

    Best regards,
