Is anyone else upset that the "buy pdf by chapter" option continues to not work on the Oreilly website? It has not worked for quite some time, and is still advertised as a valid purchasing option.
I'm an avid reader, especially in pdf formats, and find myself limited in my selection of electronic material for purchase on the Oreilly website. I've been forced to continue subscribing to Safari Books Online if the "buy pdf book" option is not available, even if the "buy pdf by chapter" is available (because that option does not work). Please get the buy pdf by chapter option available again. Please!

You're right, and we're in the process of removing the buy chapter buttons. I was the person behind this project, and have been disappointed at the slow pace of fixing the problems with the chapter sales functionality on our site. This was working for many months but then broke when we migrated our back-end systems to Oracle. We've been working on a fix, but it keep getting pushed back. So, I agree with you, and we've removed the buttons until it's all working again.

Likewise, I hope you can understand my frustration in attempting to purchase a product that appears to exist, but find myself unable to due to a technical difficulty. Do you have any idea when that service will become available again? Also, as an alternative until the checkout process is restored, is there any way to purchase the PDF by chapter via phone, email, or any other method?
