I’m frustrated

NOT useful for Mac so far

I did a search on the web for a book to use to learn Photoshop elements 4 for my mac.
Your book was recommended. I ordered through Amazon.com and got a copy today. There is nothing in there for Mac users. Can you give me the command conversions so I can use your book?
Thanks

  • Dear Richard,

Sorry to hear about your experience with this book. Regarding your question: "Can you give me the command conversions so I can use your book?". 95 percent of the time, you can simply substitute Apple's "Command" key any time you see an instruction in the book telling you to press the Windows "Control (Ctrl)" key. So, for example, on page 101, step 4, where the book says "...press Ctrl + Z", all you'd need to do on a Mac to make that work is press Command + Z. Another option to consider: we did publish last year "Photoshop Elements 6 for Mac: The Missing Manual".

    Hope this helps.

  • Hi Richard,

On full size Mac keyboards the Command key says "Command" on it, on smaller keyboards the Command key is the key to the sides of the spacebar with the apple and the clover shape:

Here's a http://www.macforbeginners.com/page.p... that shows some Mac keyboard shortcuts.

Let us know if you have more questions,
