Need to returnMicrosoft Step by Step book

Dear Microsoft Press

I am extremely disappointed with the book "Microsoft Step by Step Windows 7" by Joan Preppernau and Joyce Cox. What the book fails to do is to define steps which parallels my Windows 7 Professional OS.

I bought this book because I just installed Win 7 Pro on my Dell laptop E6510.
I have NO previous knowledge of, nor any exposure to, Win 7. I just knew I didn't want Windows 8! So as you can readily see, I am a total neophyte when it comes to Win 7.

Let me cite just one example of where your book falls short. Please note: There are other equally frustrating examples in this book; I use this one only as one example.

Starting on Page 124 "SetUp":

Step 2 - When I click "Computer" as this Step suggests, my display is only roughly similar to what your book shows, but my screen does not show the Content Pane, Navigation Pane or the Address bar. I must now go back to find and reread what those "panes" refer to. Yes, I recall seeing those words (and panes) earlier, but you'd need a pretty darn good memory to remember all those terms and what they apply too.

In par 4 of Step 2, you say "Click the Views arrow on the tool bar". I don't see and can't find the Views arrow OR even the tool bar, so I can't possibly click on Tiles.

Frustration first set in while reading some of the early chapters and has increased ten-fold as I read further into your book. I see neither relief nor benefit in reading further. I am totally snowed under by Step by Step. This book was written for someone with lots of prior computer experience -- and that ain't me

I need to return this book (ISBN:978-0-7356-2667-6) and get my $25 back, and then buy a book which is clearer and more understandable. What do I need to do to return the book back to you? If I have not sent my request to the right place, please tell me whom I should contact?
