I am reading iMovie '08 & iDVD. Can't find explanation on how to relocate imported clips shown in the Event Library from one volume to another (such as you need to free up space on your laptop hard drive). How can you move these events to an external drive and still maintain integrity of the "projects"?
Is it a simple drag & drop? or do you need to go into Finder? I thought this would been discussed, maybe in Ch. 7 where saving disk space was discussed.

Hi Beijing Mac User,
A similar question was raised on this topic and the author posted this feedback on our missing manuals site. http://missingmanuals.com/pub/a/oreil...
~ When you create a new iMovie project, just save imported clips onto the external drive. iMovie will now store all of its files--clips and all--on that drive.
