I’m Grateful

Lost Manuals for QuickBooks 2013 or 2014 for Mac? And is the windows version almost identical for 2013 and 2014?

I'm the church Auditors using QB's 2013 for Mac and our church Treasurer has QB 2013 for windows. We're learning how to make "round trips" via emails of the shared file. We found lots of glitches that Intuit didn't tell us about before we bought in and tried it. Hoping to find solutions with your manuals if they support both versions. So...

Do you have the manual for QuickBooks 2013 or later for Mac? I see you have it for Windows.

Does you manual for Quickbooks for Windows 2014 cover any more than it did for the 2013 version?

Most grateful for you and your manuals highly recommended by a friend last weekend.

  • Hi Richard,

Thank you for your message. Unfortunately, we do not have a Missing Manual that covers any version of QuickBooks for Mac.

Our books are written to cover the specific version of software referenced in the title, so if your treasurer is using QuickBooks 2013 for Windows, you'll want QuickBooks 2013: The Missing Manual. While QuickBooks 2014: The Missing Manual is newer and covers additional features in the most recent release of the software, it will not map on completely with your version and you will likely find differences (and won't be able to use the additional features that are referenced in the book anyway).

I hope this helps answer your question. Please let me know if you need any further clarification.
