Linux Graphical User Interface Editing

I have been working with Linux for several years but have never seen a book dedicated to using the GUI (graphical user interface) editor - almost every book resorts to using the command line editor. With the great interest in the new Netbook computers (Asus EEE) there is an increasing interest in Linux, if it were more user friendly - so why not a book on using editors in a graphical interface mode instead of a command line mode?
