Just "Dreamweaver cs5:the missing manual" is enough to learn webdesign?

i want to learn about webdesign, i already bought the book: Dreamweaver cs5. Now my question is: i have never learned about html or CSS ,do i have to buy or read another book (missing manual one) at the same time like this one?. Which one? thanks

  • Hi Maria,

Thanks for writing us. The Dreamweaver Missing Manual will explain how to use Dreamweaver for web development, but you may need another book to better understand the the technical side of web development and web design.

Two books that might be useful to you when you're starting out are Creating a Website: The Missing Manual and Head First HTML with CSS and XHTML. If you want to see what "Creating a Website" is like, you can download this free PDF sampler.

Later, if you want to build more advanced websites, with complex visual effects and interactivity, you might also want to read CSS: The Missing Manual and JavaScript and jQuery: The Missing Manual.

I hope that helps! Let us know if you have more questions.
