Javascript: The Definitive Guide. Missing pages.
I recently purchased Javascript: The Definitive Guide 5th Edition printed 9/07 and it is missing pages 63 through 86. I would like a complete copy of this book as it is a reference essential to my occupation. Any assistance is much appreciated.

Hi Jason,
Wow, I'm sorry to hear that they sent the wrong book! The invoice lists JavaScript: The Definitive Guide, so someone in the warehouse must have misread it. Anyway, I have ordered ANOTHER replacement copy for you!
You can keep The Book of Wireless, 2nd edition as a consolation prize. :-) -
Hi Jason,
We were a little backed up from the holidays, but I will get to your message today! -
Hi,
Please send an email with the details, including your mailing address and phone number to booktech@oreilly.com and we will send you a replacement copy.

Jason, I'm the manufacturing manager at O'Reilly. This is the first I've heard of a problem with this printing and appreciate your letting us know. It sounds like there was a missed signature on the bindery line but it certainly shouldn't have made it through the printer's quality checks. Since Chris has already been in touch about getting you a new copy, you should be all set. Best regards.

Thanks for the replies. I sent an email to booktech@oreilly.com late January 3rd with all the required details but have yet to receive a reply. I have taken two photos to illustrate the issue:

Should I send another message to booktech@oreilly.com or continue to wait for a response. Thanks again for the support.
Warm regards,

Well, the book finally came. Although it was not Javascript: The Definitive Guide. I received "The Book of Wireless" 2nd Edition by John Ross, No Starch Press. I have no idea why this book would have been sent to me, but here is a picture of the book, bill, and box:

Twice burned. At this point, I am tired of jumping through hoops. I plan on biting the bullet and picking up a perfect copy from the local book store.

Hi Chris,
I picked up a fresh copy today so there is no need to send another copy. And as for the book I did receive, I simply have no need for it. And if you like, I am happy to send it back in the box it came in for your quality control.
Again, all I wanted was a perfect copy of JavaScript: The Definitive Guide to help me better learn Javascript. And now I have it. It cost me a little more, but the info is worth the price. You have no further obligation in this matter. Thank you for trying to help me out.
Cheers,
Jason -
