    I’m glad we can help
    Hi Bob,

It looks like on page 239, the author was just recommending m.yahoo.com as a mobile-friendly site.

Yahoo does have detailed information about using Yahoo Mail with an iPhone here and on a Frequently Asked Questions page here.

You might also want to check out page 69 of the Missing Manual, which explains setting up email on an iTouch.

Let us know if you need anymore information.

    Thanks,

    Rachel

  • Hi, Bob!

Check www.missingmanuals.com in the next day or so -- there should be a downloadable PDF file with info about using IMAP accounts on the Touch up there soon. (Sorry for the delay.)

In the meantime, if you already have a Yahoo account, you can set it up on the Touch either by syncing it with your computer (Rachel helpfully mentions that stuff is on Page 69 of the book in a previous post) or directly on the Touch itself. Tap the Settings icon on the Home screen, then tap "Mail, Contacts, Calenders." On the next screen, tap "Add Account." When the list of mail providers comes up on the next screen, tap the one for Yahoo Mail and fill in your Yahoo name and password.

    Hope this helps!
