I’m excited

Is there any change I could see the table of contents or tutorial files for Dreamweaver CC: The Missing Manual?

I am thinking about requiring Dreamweaver CC: The Missing Manual for a class and would like to see the tutorial files or the Table of Contents for the book.

  • Hello Eliot,

Thanks for your interest in Dreamweaver CC: The Missing Manual. I contacted the editor and he suggested you see the table of contents for Dreamweaver CS6: The Missing Manual which can be found here: http://shop.oreilly.com/product/06369.... The editor indicated that unfortunately we can't share the table of contents before the book is printed. This title is estimated to be released December 2013.

He also included some new features that will be included in Dreamweaver CC: The Missing Manual. They are listed below:

    · HTML5 Dreamweaver CC brings HTML5 to Design view, providing simple menu options that let you insert new HTML5 elements like , , , , and so on.

    · CSS Adobe completely revamped CSS creation and editing in CC. As a result, you’ll use the CSS Designer panel to visually manage complex sets of styles.

    · Web Fonts. Dreamweaver CC’s typography options build off of the web fonts feature added in Dreamweaver CS6.

    · Mobile Web Design. CC improves on the “fluid grid layout” feature of mobile design in Dreamweaver, which lets you create designs that re-flow content to match different devices.

    · jQuery UI. Dreamweaver CC replaces Adobe’s outdated Spry framework with the wildly popular jQuery library and its user-interface toolkit known as jQuery UI.

Hope this helps and have a great day!
