I’m frustrated

is the safaria books online down?

I've tried all morning to sign into Safari books online but I get the message ' we are performing an upgrade to the authenication ....etc. I experienced the same behavior several times last week.. Whats going on?

    If you are attempting to login through the O'Reilly portal (safari.oreilly.com), the O'Reilly sever is temporarily off line. Please use the following URL to access your Safari account;

    my.safaribooksonline.com

    You will be able to do everything except make changes to your account. If you need to change anything on your account (upgrade, downgrade, change billing information, etc) you can contact Safari Customer Service at customer-service@safaribooksonline.com, or 800.775.7330 (US only), or 707.827.4118. We will be happy to help you.

    I'm sorry for the frustration. Our new authentication system was quite overwhelmed by load when we launched it late last week. Thankfully we've now found the main bottleneck and adjusted our system so you should now be able to login. It's still a little slow but it shouldn't time out anymore. We're continuing to make improvements. Please let us know if you still can't login.
