iPhoto & Photoshop

I have an iMac 2009. In iPhoto is there access to an external editor (photoshop)?

    I’m hopeful
iPhoto '09 has more powerful editing tools than ever, and you can read about them in our book "iPhoto '09: The Missing Manual." However, if you have Adobe Photoshop installed on your iMac, you can export any photo in your iPhoto Library for editing in Photoshop.

Simply Control-click (or right-click) the thumbnail in iPhoto and choose "Edit in external editor" from the shortcut menu. If you *always* want to use Photoshop, you can set that up in iPhoto's Preferences dialog box.

Choose iPhoto>Preferences. Make sure you're on the General panel. Click the pop-up menu next to "Edit photo," choose "In application". You can then choose Photoshop as your preferred application.

    I hope this helps.
