A lot of us who grew up at age of C64 and ZX81 learned how to code with help of number of computer magazines (if nothing else when you type to code you read it).
I think number of parents would be happy to invest in the odd chance that kids would use computers beyond gaming and youtube. If such a magazine would be made it would need some video support and topics that are genuinely interesting to kids, such as hacking minecraft and so forth.
