I’m confused

How do I get my free 45-day online version?

I bought "Understanding Linux Networking Internals" on Amazon.
The books says that there is a free 45-day online version included.
How do I access this free 45-day online version?

    Hi Jeff,

It's quite easy to redeem a coupon. Go to:

    safari.oreilly.com/safarienabled

Enter the coupon code provided in your book - usually on the last page, and click "Apply Coupon." If you are an existing Safari subscriber, fill in your user name and password and click "Login." If you are new to Safari, fill in the information in the New User section and click "Register." You will be automatically directed to a bookshelf with your new book on it.

If you have any trouble, please contact Safari Customer Service directly at:

    support.safaribooksonline.com

    Thank you,

    Diane

  • Hi,

If you are being prompted to enter a credit card or you are seeing messaging related to a 10-day trial, you are signing up for our standard Safari Books Online 10-day trial account to our entire library. 45-day access to the O'Reilly Media book you purchased does not require a credit card and does not convert to a paid account at the end of the 45 days.

To redeem your 45-day coupon, go to safari.oreilly.com/safarienabled. Enter the code printed in your book. Click the CONFIRM COUPON button. Then click the REGISTER A NEW ACCOUNT button. You will be prompted to enter your name, email address, a password and agree to our EULA. At the completion of this process you will be automatically logged into your account and directed to the page where you can access the book in question.

If you have any trouble with this process please contact Safari Customer Service via http://support.safaribooksonline.com.

    Thank you,

    Diane
