I’m sad

Head First on Kindle Touch: images are blurry and text on images isn't readable.

Hi,

I recently upgraded and downloaded "head first design patterns " and "head first html 5 programm'ng" books to my kindle touch (mobi format). I was quite excited I can read them on kindle now, actually was waiting for mobi for a long time. But unfortunately most of the images are blurry, and the text on images is impossible to read (text is faded away, no matter how much you zoom in you can't read text). So it was dissapointment to me, since those books consist of images mostly. Please fix it.

  • Hi Casey,

Thanks for writing us about this, and I'm really sorry for the disappointment. I'm checking with our ebooks team to see if there's anything we can do. I also want to make sure you know that we have a 100% satisfaction guarantee, and if you would like a refund, you can find the details at http://oreilly.com/go/guarantee.

I took a look at these mobi files in the Kindle Reader for Mac, and the images are quite clear there, so I think this just may be an issue with the images on the Kindle Touch. I'll let you know if the ebooks team has a solution, and feel free to take advantage of our guarantee.

    Kind Regards,
