I’m frustrated

VirtualSource Bookshelf – unwanted!

I have bought one of Wrox e-books from your website and I expected to be able downloaded it in PDF or eBook format, as it was noted before purchase, and also in many places on your website. Instead I got e-mail from that I must download “VirtualSource Bookshelf”. The Wiley Customer Service confirmed that the book can be read only through that book reader. Since I do not want another e-book reader on my commuter, without downloading it, I asked for refund. Instead I got additional charged for $1.00. I hope I will get my money back but it takes lot's of time and writing to get it back.
But I still do not understand while the information from your website is so misleading?

  • Hello Wojtek,

Sorry for your frustration. Ebooks purchased on are DRM-free so you would have not issue reading it on different devices you might own nor would you have to download VirtualSource Bookshelf to read the ebook. O'Reilly distributes Wiley ebooks, and if you purchased the ebook from Wiley directly you would want to contact them:

If you did in fact order this ebook from we do have have a 100% satisfaction guarantee, and you can find more information about this here:
