I just started using Elements 9, but have only been able to edit a couple of photos due to an error message that keeps popping up when I open a new project. I open the photo, go to edit, then this message comes up:
" ! Command could not be completed because the editor was busy. Please finish the current operation and try again."
I go to the "file" to save, at this point, but there is not even a save option in the drop down. I am completely frustrated at this point and have spent HOURS trying to find help. I have the missing manual, but it does not address this problem ) :
I don't even know what project needs to be saved at this point....
All I want to do is start creating!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I checked with Barbara Brundage, the author of "Photoshop Elements 9: The Missing Manual," and she said you might want to try the advice suggested in this article: http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/891/cpsid_89...
However, Barbara warned that Adobe's suggestions don't seem to work for everyone who's encountering this problem. Fingers crossed they work for you!
