eBook prices.

I would like to support publishers directly. I purchase many O'Reilly books, but if I buy the kindle book from Amazon it's $17.50 from you it's $31. I'd pay more to purchase through you, but double, for an ebook?

  • Hello Elliot,

Amazon discounts from our list price, so you may see them selling at a lower price than the list price on our site, but we offer discounts when you purchase from us that can make it a better deal.

When you're purchasing ebooks or videos, use discount code MBBGS to buy 1 get 1 free (you'll get 50% off each ebook). You can find more information about this at https://members.oreilly.com/account/b....

Our ebooks are also DRM free which allows you to download them to multiple devices and have access to these ebooks in these formats: PDF, ePub, Kindle-compatible .mobi, and DAISY. More information on this can be found here: http://shop.oreilly.com/category/cust....

You also get free updates to your ebooks purchased at oreilly.com.These updates include errata and formatting fixes. Thanks for your feedback and have a great day!

    Kind regards,
