Dropbox sync format selector

The automatic syncing of ebooks to Dropbox is an awesome service, but it can fill up space fast because it syncs all the formats of the title.

What would make Dropbox sync even awesome-er would be having a way to have sync only, say, the epub or pdf versions. Maybe this could be a preference set in our user account profile or in place on the Your Products page.

Of course, this wouldn't be a problem if it weren't for all those Deals of the Day you insist on offering. :D

  • Hello Matt,

You can do this now in the Account Info section of Your Account. See the image below where you can specify which format you want to send.

Let me know if you're still having a problem.

    Regards, --Allen

  • Ha! So it does. Okay, 2 things:

    1) How about this: Make which titles get synced checkmark-selectable instead of the all or one-at-a-time method now used?

    2) I didn't find the Dropbox settings because I haven't actually gone to the Account Info area in quite a while. While it seems like it would be obvious that would be the first place to go, hovering over the "Account Info" button drops down a menu with "Address Book" and "Billing Info", and I was assuming that those were the only two sections there and just clicking on Account Info" wouldn't take me anywhere.

Which itself seems crazy, but, for example, clicking on just "News & Commentary" on the menu bar immediately above doesn't work; the user must select from the drop down menu.

    Thanks for the quick response!
