Cookbook apps of Stanza 1.0 ver cut off text

I have several (15 or so) of the Cookbook series Oreilly apps, all of which are no longer available in the iTunes app store. When trying to view any of them they either crash or display only part of the page.
The text is cut off on the bottom and the next page is not a continuation of the text or page. This does not change by changing the font or font size.
I have also noticed I can not register these apps to gain access to another format on Oreilly.com

    That is a known problem and unfortunately we are unable to update those O'Reilly iOS book apps, so we have removed them from the iTunes Store.

    We'd like to offer free ebook bundles to all customers who purchased O'Reilly books via the iTunes Store. Most ebook bundles include the book in multiple ebook formats—PDF, EPUB, and Mobi—and there is no DRM on any of the files. You will have lifetime access to the ebook files, and can download the them as often as you like and read them on the reading device of your choice.
