O'Reilly has so many fantastic books that I would just love to purchase, but to be honest, I buy most of my books from Manning Publishing and APress. This is simply because they offer either free, or deeply discounted copy of the eBook when I buy the real book. Unless I'm missing something, the only thing that comes close with O'Reilly is Safari, and that's just not a solution I'm interested in.
Is there any way to get the eBook free or discounted when I buy the hard copy?
Yes, there are quite a few ways to purchase ebooks on oreilly.com at a discounted price. We do offer a discount where you can get the ebook of a print title you own for $4.99. All you have to do is register your print books by published by O'Reilly or Microsoft Press and you will have the option to purchase the ebook for $4.99. Registering your print books can be done here: https://members.oreilly.com/account/r....
Also, O'Reilly has a deal where you can you can buy 1 ebook, get 1 free. Buy 2 ebooks, get 2 free. Buy 3 ebooks, get 3 free and so on. All you would have to do is use the discount code MBBGS. Information on this can be found here: https://members.oreilly.com/account/b....
