Is there a plan to publish a digital version of 'AspectJ Cookbook'.
More generally why is it done by default? Given the availability of ereaders, I would think that it is in your best interest to provide every book in electronic format. Other publishers, like the pragmatic bookshelf do so and I love it. I, as many of the professional I work with, no longer buy technical prints. They becomes obsolete too quickly and it is just too convenient to have our entire technical collection on our eReader and computer (in pdf format usually for me).
So in this instance, you lost a sale. Too bad as this book seems very good and given that our team uses aspectj heavily, we would have bought several copies.
Thank you for writing us about this, and I'm sorry for the frustration. We try to make all of our books available in as many formats as possible, but some of our older books have not been made into ebooks yet.
I'll pass your comment on to our ebooks team to see if we can make an ebook available for this book, and I'll let you know if we can.
Thank you for letting us know you're interested in this title.
