I have been a fan of O'Reilly's books for quite some time. I particularly like when they publish books that may not be commercial hot tickets, but do help advance and expand the field. I particularly like books like High Performance Computing, Mastering Algorithms in Perl and Mastering Algorithms in C (even though I don't code in either).
I, along with many other people, am currently teaching myself Python using O'Reilly's own Learning Python and Programming Python books. I am interested in expanding my burgeoning knowledge of Python by looking at traditional algorithms as would be implemented in the Python language, but there are virtually NO books on the topic (look for yourself). O'Reilly's own Algorithms in a Nutshell (due out next month) says it includes examples in C, C++, Java and Ruby. No Python there either.
Are you ever going to publish a Mastering Algorithms with Python (or something similar) book?
