I’m confused

$4.99 book upgrade option not available for some registered O'Reilly books.

I purchased a few printed books recently from local bookstore (namely "Microinteractions" by Dan Saffer and User-Centered Design by Travis Lowdermilk). I registered both books to get e-Book upgrade option (for $4.99 each) but I don't see "Upgrade Discount" for either of the book.

Are ebook upgrade option available for both title? If so, then what should I do?

  • Hello Rawitat,

Sorry that the $4.99 upgrade didn't work for each title you registered. Microinteractions is unfortunately out of print, and doesn't have an ebook available. There is a version Microinteractions: Full Color Edition that is in print which is the same title as Microinteractions, but with included color. I checked and the $4.99 ebook upgrade isn't populating for User-Centered Design, and I have made the appropriate team aware of this.

I'll be writing you an e-mail directly providing you with a discount code that will allow you to purchase the ebooks of Microinteractions: Full Color Edition and User-Centered Design for $4.99. Thanks for your interest in O'Reilly books and have a great day!

    Kind regards,
